I´m off to bed
What "rule"?, what "stone", what "grain", "What debts"???? I can´t make head or tail of any of these metaphors, my head is going to burst, I´m going to bed right now, before it´s too late! What does this "window in the skies" refer to? Will I be any wiser tomorrow? If you have any ideas, please HELP ME!!

As for the song, I was browsing through the net and I found this interesting comment:
Hmmm... rather than this song being about the love of God, I got the impression that it was about the love/care of all the people in the world who want to make it a better place. The Window in the Skies is our newfound opportunities and the possibilities that we have. It's really an optimistic message about how life is getting better and better due to the 'love' of all the people who made it so. I think that's why in the video there are heaps of influential musicians who helped the place out.
Of course, this song is open to many interpretations, as common with U2 songs.
