To whom it may concern:
Peter Wright
Peter and I have been working for a local travel agent for two years, and he has taken care of his grandfather since he fell sick.
During the time we have worked together, he has proved himself to be a punctual person, rarely absent from work. He is never daunted when things go wrong, remaining self-possessed. He is a friendly and polite young person, who is always at hand to help.
His polite and tactful manner is a vital asset in customer relations, especially when dealing with elderly people.
When he started work in the company, he was not able to control his nerves. Nevertheless, he soon changed drastically, and has proved to be a self-possessed and level-headed person. Also, he has a tendency to worry over detail; however, this is a mark of his perfectionism.
It is undeniable that Peter has a talent for foreign languages, and he is fluent in English, Basque and Spanish. He is also doing a course in German and another in French. Despite being such an intelligent person, he keeps a low profile.
Naturally,he has outstanding communication skills; what is more, his ability to convince people is one of his greatest strengths. He is deeply interested in cultural and historic monuments, and has a good sense of direction.
For all these reasons, I strongly believe that Peter would have much to contribute to your company, and therefore I have no hesitation in supporting his application wholeheartedly.
Yours Sincerely,
